"Meeting Francesca and getting to make our own custom sandals in her workshop was one of our favorite experiences in Rome! So special to meet a female custom shoe maker and learn from her. She is there to assist through the steps of creating a pair of sandals uniquely yours. Throughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it. If you don’t have a rental car, I suggest using Uber to get to and from the Workshop that is a little out of the city center. "

"I booked this activity as a surprise for the two ladies travelling with me (my wife and my niece). I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect before arriving however once we did, the ladies eyes just lit up. Francesca was so friendly and personable and welcomed us so graciously. The ladies were so happy with the directions and guidance Francesca provided in building and making their own special candles from Italy. Francesca is certainly a master craftsperson in her area of expertise (custom shoe and sandals).
They both said this was by far their best part of of two week trip in Italy. That’s certainly saying something. "

I was able to hang out and drink espresso (thank you!) while they made their own pair of sandals. Francesca was a great and patient teacher and fun to talk to.
