In fact, we enjoyed the experience so much that when he offered to take us back to the airport the following day with an added half-day tour of Denpasar and Nusa Dua Beach, it was an easy yes. "June understood exactly what we wanted out of our time with her and she took us to many charming, uncrowded spots that we would have never found or gained access to on our own. We visited interesting places, got the inside track on where to shop and enjoyed great local food. The cherry on top was a visit to a Durian place. She picked out the perfect fruit for us to share - so delicious!!! Her driver was top notch. He navigated the crazy traffic (the day before Nyepi) and got us where we needed to go safely and quickly. "Starting our very first memories in Bali with Putu was truly a big stroke of luck for us. Even before booking, Putu took the time to talk with us one-on-one and kindly explained our requests again and again until everything was clear. We were very grateful for his patience and thoughtful communication, and it made us feel comfortable and confident even before the tour began. The tour itself followed exactly what we had hoped for. While driving, Putu shared stories about Indonesian and Balinese history and culture, and they were so interesting and engaging that the 1.5–2 hours of driving time flew by without us even noticing.
