Agung è stata una guida favolosa, abbiamo costruito insieme l’itinerario per la giornata, e lui ci ha fatto veramente scoprire le bellezze di Ubud, quelle più segrete, più nascoste e più autentiche!!!! ci ha raccontato della cultura e della religione induista e buddista, ha risposto a tutte le nostre curiosità in merito! Ci ha fatto scoprire templi bellissimi e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere dal vivo una cerimonia di chiusura dell’anno in un tempio indù!! ci ha portato a visitare anche un villaggio tradizionale di uBud, dove abbiamo conosciuto persone splendide! La degustazione di caffè in una local Roastery è stata la ciliegina sulla torta: abbiamo speso un’oretta a assaggiando diversi tipi di caffè da un mastro torrefatore, che si occupava di tutta la filiera, dalla coltivazione del caffè, alla tostatura, alla macinazione e vendita. È stata un’esperienza favolosa! Non da meno Amo, il nostro driver e amico di Agung, che ci ha scarrozzato tutto il tempo tra le strade trafficate!! Che giornata fantastica!!! "Wandeltour: Hoogtepunten en verborgen parels van Ubud met Budi Deze wandeltour met Budi is een absolute aanrader! In plaats van de bekende toeristische routes nam hij mij mee van de gebaande paden af, waardoor ik het echte Bali kon ervaren. We wandelden door prachtige rijstvelden waar we de lokale bevolking aan het werk zagen en een authentiek kijkje kregen in het dagelijks leven. Een groot pluspunt was dat we de drukte wisten te vermijden. Daardoor konden we in alle rust genieten van de natuur en de omgeving. Budi vertelde met veel passie over de Balinese cultuur, tradities en gebruiken. Daarnaast gaf hij interessante uitleg over de politiek, de invloed van het toerisme op het eiland en hoe de Balinese bevolking probeert haar eeuwenoude cultuur te behouden. Ook liepen we een deel van de prachtige Sok Wayah Rice Field Walking Trail, een schitterende route met adembenemende uitzichten. Dankzij Budi was dit veel meer dan een wandeling; het was een leerzame en authentieke kennismaking met Ubud en het echte Bali. Een ervaring die ik iedereen van harte kan aanbevelen!"
