"After discovering Roopak and Nidhi's cookery course on WithLocals, I knew I had to try it out! Without further ado, I booked and we communicated via whatsapp. My anticipation grew! Roopak explained to me in detail where and how I could meet them at their apartment complex, going easiest way via UBER. I received a very warm welcome at their very nice apartment and immediately felt at home. The menu was a great introduction to Indian culture. Not only that, but explanations about the culture, the people, religion and the environment were also very informative for me. Meanwhile, Nidhi showed me how to prepare the dishes in the kitchen, and I could do most of it by myself - for the learning effect. The food was fantastic! Roopak answered a lot of my questions and taught me some simple words. They are great hosts and have a lot of experience with foreigners, I highly recommend them!
