"I really wanted to go shopping in old Delhi but didn’t feel confident tackling it alone as a solo female traveller.
At very short notice, I contacted Ritesh to see if he might be able to create a personalised walking experience, to help me find certain items, and I’m so pleased I asked! He was flexible and accommodating to adapting his historical walking tour offer.

"We did two separate tours with Ritesh while we were in Delhi - his Old Delhi walking tour and the food tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed both.
Ritesh is full of knowledge about the history of Delhi, the cuisine and various religious and cultural customs. We learned so much!
The walking tour was an amazing opportunity to wander the beautiful chaos of Chandni Chowk without getting too overwhelmed or lost in the winding streets, as well as visiting 3 different places of worship for different religions in India. We found it truly fascinating and they were experiences we likely wouldn’t have had without a local guide.
We had a brilliant time with Ritesh on the food tour and as always were blown away by the flavours of India. Ritesh took us to places we’d never have visited without a guide and we tried dishes that were unknown to us, even as very keen fans of Indian food in the UK.

"We were lucky enough to book 2 trips in Delhi with Ritesh.
1st was food tasting in the evening and the 2nd was a tour of old Delhi.
I have limited mobility and from the 1st contact with Ritesh he was able to advise what was possible, what would be difficult, and things he wouldn't recommend. Both trips were entirely catered for me.
Did I feel out I had missed anything ? No not a bit.
We had an amazing and fun time and ritesh brought food and laugher to both trips.
We are left with everlasting memories - from eating the best and authentic Nahari in a Muslim cafe, samosa on the back of a rickshaw , me being carried over steps in a rickshaw to see a particular street that he wanted to show us.
His inside knowledge is amazing. Phoning ahead on several occasions to ensure rickshaw drivers were waiting for us and at one point asking a street vendor to stay open for us because we had to try his potato curry
we cannot rate Ritesh high enough.
His 2 trips will remain some of the highlights of our amazing holiday .

"Hello, I have traveled in many countries and have meet more than 200 tour guides but Ritesh is the best tour guide I have meet. He showed me Old Delhi and another parts of the city and explained me all. The best walking tour with a local. I recommend 100%. He is a very good person and honest. Excellent guided tour
"We spent a morning with Ritesh walking around Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi (Purani Dilli - yes, we were listening!) and it was well worth it. A passionate and knowledgeable guide, Ritesh filled in the considerable gaps in our understanding of Indian history and religion but best of all were the conversations we had about how people live then and now in this beautiful country.
