"Nikos was excellent on our 3 hour history of Thessaloniki tour. Excellent English. Very knowledgeable. Happy to discuss our questions, constantly imparting information. Starting in the heights of the upper town was well worth it, and meant the tour was constantly downhill. He told us about history (he even brought old pictures of Thessaloniki on a tablet with him), politics, and Greek culture. The biggest hidden gem for us was the excavation in the new metro!
