"We were a family of three adults and two children. Kostos picked us up in a large van, right on time, and immediately made us laugh. We spent a good part of the day with him, traveling around the island of Santorini, learning about the history, and visiting, not only the most popular sites, but many off the beaten track views. He took us to a fabulous place for lunch, right on the black sand beach, where there were hardly any tourists. The food was spectacular and we ate way too much, with each item more delicious than the one before. The whole day was spent being educated and laughing. Kostos is smart, funny, and made the day incredibly special. Our 9 and 11-year-olds especially enjoyed every moment. One might ask why you need a guide in Santorini. The answer is there is so much to see and so much to learn that we never could’ve done on our own. And Kostos was the perfect choice. He also recommended restaurants for our three nights here for dinner, and each one was a pearl of a find. He never steered us wrong. "The whole day was exceptional. We had a late meeting due to tender from ship and cable car being slow but George waited and was very understanding. Although booking was with Apostolis, George turned up with driver Nick (Mr Volcano) They were both polite, knowledgeable and experienced, avoiding traffic jams and crowds. "Apostolis was our tour guide for the island of Santorini Greece. We spent the entire day with him. He showed us the island from one end to the other. He explained the history of the island and took us to Hideaway places. He was friendly, courteous, and very professional, yet personable. "We booked a tour with Apostolis for the Highlights and Gems of Santorini by Car for 8 people (family and friends). Unfortunately, Apostolis was ill on the day of our tour so he had one of his colleagues, Agnes lead the tour along with a driver. They met us at the top of the cable car as we were visiting Santorini via a cruise ship. This all day tour took us to both ends of the island, walking through Oia, visiting both Black Beaches, Red Beach, famous temples and the highest place on the island, a Monastery. As we were a larger group, it would have been helpful to have whisperers. I highly recommend this tour. We visited in late October so it was definitely less crowded and the weather was excellent."
