"We could tell from the first meeting with Alex that it was going to be a great day! From the start, we felt like we were meeting with a friend. The food tour items were plentiful and delicious. We were surprised with the amount of food presented and had difficulty finishing it all. Everyone we met along the way, the restauranteurs and servers treated us with kindness and hospitality. This was a first for us and it exceeded all of our expectations. Fun fact, when we returned to one of the restaurants for dinner, the owner of the restaurant recognized us and treated us with a warm greeting. He then mentioned that Alex was present at a table and brought us to meet him. We ended up spending the next couple of hours with Alex and his friend as they invited us to sit with them. Alex is so personable and friendly who treated us like friends. We will remember him for a long time!"

"Eftihia's knowledge of where to go and what to eat in Heraklion, to understand the culture of the city through food and drink, is unparalleled. Meeting market vendors selling local cacao, salt, and honey products (which we're slowly getting through at home), gorging ourselves on pastries, eating local delicacies at the taverna, and finishing off with some lava desserts, we rolled ourselves home and still had leftovers to nosh on the next day.
