"This tour was great! Marjut is very kind, she even came to meet us at our hotel because we didn't know our way around and she gave us enough information about places to go and things to see that we could have made an entire second days worth of touring.
She is very flexible, she has her options of food places she goes to for you to get a taste of many aspects of Bavaria, but works with you on where to go, when to best fit your needs. For instance, my wife was hungry as we hadn't eaten in quite a few hours. So instead of starting with some of the history, we jumped right into some food! Though she has places in mind of where to go, if you ask her about a stand or what something is, she will take you to try it. Many of the food stands offered free samples too.
The most surprising thing to me was how good the Gluhwine (umlaut over the u, I just can't do it on this phone) was. My wife and I do not like wine, so hot wine didn't seem like something we would be into, but something about heating it up got rid of some of the typical bitter flavoring that wine has and made it sweeter. Perfect for a cold evening.
Only recommendation is if you book with her, the typical German expectation for gratuity is 10%. Bring a bit more 10-15 $/Euro, because she buys all the food for you while you wait at the tables."
"We paid € 360 plus € 36 service charge for 4 persons ; we expected to get more then 2 pints and some cheese, sauer meat and sausages. Scandalous! I will see where to put it on internet to warn other people. Marion did her job as guide well."
"We had the best 10 Tastings of Munich with Marjut. We tried out so many new meats and foods. We also saw the most incredible local sites and found out so much about Munich. Make sure to schedule your tour early enough so that shops in the market don’t start closing on you. That was not Marjut’s fault. In fact she got us to a lot more places than I thought she would given the hour."
