"Linda was an excellent guide to all things Split. She is totally conversant in its long history, its endless architecture, ancient ruins, and development over the past 1800 years. She guided us to some of the best food we’d eaten during our past 10 days in Croatia. And she was so much fun to be with. And incredibly kind. When we met for the tour Linda saw immediately that one of our party was not feeling well and she suggested we reschedule for the following day. Linda is one of Split’s hidden gems. "Dubravka ("Duba") was the perfect private guide for the two us. We finished our three hour tour - which really was four hours - with such a better knowledge of Split and all the layers of its history. Best yet, she mixed the tour with her personal opinions, stories about her life, her parents, her grandparents, which made the city much more personal and more alive. We even ducked into a couple of her favourites for snacks and a coffee. We left the tour feeling like we had a new friend. Duba is very good at what she does. Her pacing is perfect. "Our visit to Split was a smashing success because we met Linda for her food tour on our first day. Linda is a local lady with in-depth knowledge of the area and excellent food recommendations. Our tour started at the Split palace with the best espresso with shlag. Next winding through the palace streets, Linda pointed out landmarks as we stopped in multiple shops to taste their goods. Picking up some samples on the way we stopped for a pastry filled with cheese and spinach. Then headed over to the other side of the palace for a delicious chevapi and then a short walk to finish with a taste of ice cream. Thank you Linda!"
