Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"We have just spent 2 delightful days with Alejandra in Santiago. She was a joy to spend time with; accommodating, knowledgeable and her English is excellent. A very enjoyable experience thankyou Alejandra."
"I had a wonderful day in Santiago with Alejandra. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and easygoing. The day felt like I was spending it with a good friend who was showing me her city. Alejandra’s english is great and I was glad to have her assistance at the museum and at lunch with the Spanish text. "
"Alejandra is energetic, very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. We very much appreciated her advice and insights of Santiago and Chile. She was very responsive in relying quickly to our questions. Santiago is not such an easy city to truly appreciate - having Alejandra as our guide helped greatly in our understanding of its history and character Very highly recommended ! "
"We had a wonderful day with Alejandra visiting some of the highlights of Santiago. Alejandro speaks perfect English and was able to explain to us in detail all the important information we needed to know in order to get to know the city. As first time visitors it was a wonderful introduction to this great city. "
"We were very jet-lagged and despite only a few hours sleep and very high heat, Cristobal gave us a great tour and took wonderful care of us Highly recommended "
"Cristobal was a great tour guide through the foods of Santiago. We tried so many yummy things as well as getting a great tour through the main area of Santiago. Cristobal was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. We had a great time!"
"On our first day in Santiago, we did a walking tour with Cristobol. He provided a great overview of the City and answered all of our strange questions. Cristobal has a great sense of humor and is an excellent ambassador for Santiago. Gracias "
"Our tour with Claudia was excellent! She was so informative and passionate about the city and its history. We had a great time, and heard a lot of facts and stories about Santiago. Claudia was very personable and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. "
"The tour was just what we wanted. We got an overview of Santiago and many neighborhoods and significant locations, plus local color and insights. Alejandra was super friendly and engaging and as an English teacher spoke English very well. In addition to pointing out places and their details, she shared some of the interesting and tumultuous history of Chile. If you want to walk a lot and learn about Santiago with a local, Alejandra is fantastic. And if you want to sit and have lunch, she told us she’ll do that too - she’s flexible. "
"Amalia was very thorough with communication directly after our booking, and the morning before our tour. Very thoughtful about standing/walking in the shade on our hot day. She had thorough historical knowledge and pointed out Chilean foods and traditions as we saw them as well. She didn’t miss a beat when we wanted to stop for gelato too. Favorite stops were plaza de Armas and San Cristobal funicular and cable car. Also tried mote con huesillo too! Santiago is not one of my favorite cities, but Amalia helped us make the most of it. "
