Here’s an overview of your tour
In a very comfortable private car I come and pick you up at your hotel in Munich. We will have an enchanting day trip through the Alpine upland. On our way you can lay back and enjoy the scenery, while we will drive through beautiful bavarian villages and green valleys. Our main destination is the TOP of Germany: Zugspitze! 2,962 m (9,718 ft) above sea level, is the highest mountain in Germany.
At Lake Eibsee you will take a cablecar, which takes you up to the top in just a few minutes. Up on the summit on a clear day you have a view of more than 400 peaks of the Bavarian, Austrian, Swiss and Italian Alps. Here you can enjoy a drink or lunch at one of the peak's restaurants with breathtaking view. After descending back down we go for a short walk at the shores of Lake Eibsee. This lake is said to be the most beautiful lake in Europe.
We continue our ride passing picturesque villages on the way and visit the world famous Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Here we visit the historic Olympia Skistadion and hear the stories about the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in 1936 by Adolf Hitler. We slender through the charming pedestrian zone and admire the colorful painted houses.
Alternative we can hurry up the timetable a little bit, to get time to visit the King’s Palace Linderhof after Garmisch-Partenkirchen as well. If we visit the Palace Linderhof, we will have a stop at huge monastery Ettal too. How we create the tour, we can decide spontaneously according to your interests. The fact is: this is your day and you will love it 100 %!
