I'm an enthusiastic archaeologist with a vast knowledge of the Greco-Roman history and all its wonders, and I can't wait to share my love for past civilizations with you! Meet me in Paestum and let's start exploring.
Close to the seaside and what was once founded by the Greeks, the ruins were named Poseidonia related to the Greek god Poseidon, protector of the sea. Let me tell you all about them while we visit the temples dedicated to Athena, Hera, Apollo, and Zeus.
This archeological area is beautiful, and it holds many exciting stories. It's one of the best-preserved cities from the times of Greek colonization protected by the UNESCO. As soon as you set foot here, you'll be transported to another era!
In Paestum, there is also an incredible National Museum that shows us some of the most important artifacts of Greek and Roman times, where is possible to see the painted Tomb of the Diver, a masterpiece of 2500 years ago. Let's wander around the museum and ask away! I have plenty of knowledge to share with you.
