Immerse yourself in the local culture and grab a local favorite vegetarian lunch. Head to the Sigiriya Lion Rock that’s referred by locals as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Marvel at The Mirror wall that is painted with inscriptions and poems. Feeling adventurous? Then head to the Pidurangala Rock for a climb. Day three starts with a drive to Polonnaruwa that was once a commercial and religious center where kings ruled central plains.
