"Had an excellent day with Haq. We could have happily spent another day in Hiroshima. We had an injury in our group and i was concerned about the duration of the tour. Haq arranged a driver for us before we arrived which was much cheaper than taking taxis everywhere. It meant we could all stay together which I was grateful for. I loved how passionate Haq is about Hiroshima. He showed us that Hiroshima is so much more than that moment in 1945. The beauty of the area is astounding, and the optimism is inspiring. "

"We enjoyed our tour with Haq. He made the tour of Peace Park interesting eventhough we could not get any trivia questions correct to win ice cream. Lol! He got through the tour in enough time for us to go through the museum. A few of us could not take seeing the images in the museum as it is not for everyone. "We had a full day tour with Haq that was jam-packed as it included visiting Miyajima as well as the Memorial Park and museum. It was alot to cover but we only had one day and wanted to do it all. Haq was very knowledgeable but ensured that the subject matter was still accessible for our 10 year. Haq had alot of great anecdotes and made sure to include several stops with delicious snacks. We loved our time on the island. The second part was our time at the Memorial park which was very powerful. Haq used such care in explaining the different monuments and the stories attached to them. " We had an extraordinary experience with Nabeel, and I truly cannot recommend him highly enough. We purchased concert tickets from StubHub in the U.S. (which, in hindsight, I would strongly advise against for events in Japan). In order to retrieve our tickets, we were required to register through a third-party Japanese website called TV Asahi and download them from there. The process was extremely complicated, entirely in Japanese, and phonetically challenging. Nabeel patiently registered all of us on the website — a very time-consuming process — and spent hours helping us navigate and attempt to download the tickets. He never rushed, never showed frustration, and remained calm, kind, and fully present the entire time. Unfortunately, two of us were not able to get into the concert. We had come for my son, and thankfully my husband was able to go in with him. Nabeel stayed with me, and what could have been a disappointing evening turned into something truly meaningful. We shared a meal and had a fascinating conversation about history, politics, religion, and culture. It ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Beyond that, Nabeel is incredibly knowledgeable about everything — where to find taxis, supermarkets, restaurants — and especially the Peace Tour in Hiroshima. It takes a very special person to guide something as heavy and monumental as the bombing of Hiroshima with such gentleness and thoughtfulness. He explained the history with care, nuance, and respect, offering balanced and compassionate perspectives. By the end of our time together, it honestly felt like we had gained a new family member. He has such a kind and thoughtful nature, and we felt supported every step of the way. If you have the opportunity to work with Nabeel, you will be in the very best hands."
