"A bit hesitant before I booked: would this singer / guitar player really know the nice spots… and share history… or talk about music all the time? Surprise!! It turned out that this was one of the best tours (the best) we have ever had! Remy asked what my daughter (17) and me were interested in and customised the program seamlessly. We opted for the photograph tour with a small bite somewhere and info about the city on the way. Fantastic!!! It was also just really entertaining to walk around George Town with someone who knows a lot of people and who seems really appreciated by others. Remy knows the history as well as the up-to-date fact. He is not the slightest afraid to share his opinion on things or to correct rude people in a nice manner : ) Remy is quite a character. We would have liked to book another tour with him but unfortunately we only had one full day in George Town - what a city!! "

"We spent a terrific 3 hours with Remy sampling a huge array of different foods in Georgetown. We tried all sorts, that we would never have come across without guidance from Remy. Everything was delicious and we left feeling very full. Be sure to bring your appetite and you'll have a great experience. "Mit Lisa war es als würde man eine Freundin von früher treffen, die einem die Stadt und insbesondere das Essen von George Town zeigt. Wir waren und sind total begeistert von dieser Tour. Lisa hat es geschafft Gerichte für uns auszuwählen, die sogar unseren drei super mäkeligen Kindern gut geschmeckt haben. Bis auf die Durian war alles sehr lecker. Auch wenn uns die Durian nicht geschmeckt hat, war es ein Erlebnis sie zu probieren. Das hätten wir uns ohne Lisa nämlich nicht getraut, genauso wie die ganzen anderen Gerichte vom Nachtmark etc. Wir können Lisa und ihre Tour also wärmstens empfehlen!!!"

"Joo Bee was an excellent guide, she met us at the appointed location at the Victoria Clock Tower nearby the cruise Terminal and we spent the morning exploring the UNESCO world heritage site of Georgetown, Penang. We were not disappointed. Joo Bee was able to show us all the sights and locations of interest and gave us a wonderful insight into a bygone era. We enjoyed her company and felt we really were able to understand the history and gain a good understanding of the local culture. Thanks to Joo Bee's local knowledge, we had a wonderful day."

"Lisa met us looking very presentable and with a positive outlook. Due to dietary restrictions, she had to personally do a lot of preparations for this tour, and we appreciated that greatly. Her knowledge of the area and history was terrific for a “foreigner”. She pulled together a great foodie tour for us. Even though it was a scorching hot day, she was most accomodating with us oldies’ slow walking pace, and her care factor was tremendous. All the food she generously arranged was nothing short of excellent. Just start on an empty belly, as her choices will definitely fill you up. She answered all our various questions with calm confidence, suited to her personality. I am not the easiest person to please, but Lisa achieved that in spades. To say we were smitten with her tour is an understatement. It was great! By all means, pick Lisa for your foodie tour in Georgetown. You won’t be let down, as we all very highly recommend her.
