"We spent a morning with Ngoc, touring some of the historical sites in Hoi Ann. Ngoc spoke excellent English and was able to impart lots of interesting information about the buildings, the royal dynasty, and the colonial powers that Vietnam has dealt with over the years. It was also fascinating to hear about the loss of the original Vietnamese script. To round the tour off, we had a lovely little treat at the end, sipping salt coffee in a quiet corner cafe overlooking the river. "
