"We had a great time touring Hoi A with Robert. He took care of everything from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel in Da Nang promptly to make our way to Hoi An and dropped off at the expected time. Along the way, Robert shared information about the surroundings we were passing by and shared his own experience living in Vietnam with us. Once we reached Hoi An, Robert was really prepared. We started off visiting a tailor shop where he knew some of the staff. This was such a fun place. We all got measured and had design sessions to get custom clothes made, from there Robert took us all over Hoi An, stopping for coffee, crepes on the street, whatever we wanted he helped us find. He took us through the main historical sites and shared great detail on the history of the area and the Vietnamese and Chinese influences. He helped us avoid getting too tangled up with the hoards of tourists that flock to Hoi An in the evenings and got us out of there before it became a crush of people. We tried some amazing food along the way. At one of the historic homes we visited, a woman was making dumplings in the back. One word from me and Robert had us at a table and was ordering up food for us. He literally took care of all our needs, let us shop a bit, while ensuring we were seeing the sites and didn't miss anything. Robert followed up with us the next day to ensure we received all of our clothing from the tailors as well. They had a little trouble delivering to our hotel so Robert stepped in to help even though he had no obligation to do so. He clearly cared that everything was to our liking. He really went the extra mile. We had a great day in Hoi An with Robert. I highly recommend his tours. "

"After a whirlwind tour of Asia, and many food tours, the food tour with Tam was simply one of the best. Tam was amazing. "We had an amazing afternoon with Tam, riding through the rice paddies and villages outside Hoi An. Tam was funny, informative and helpful, and although we didn’t realise at the time he took lots of photos of us riding around. Visiting the rice paper makers and mat weavers was thought provoking and educational. The riding is not hard, and there is no better way to see some of the real Viet Nam. Couldn’t recommend it higher."

"We really enjoyed our tour with Robert. We would book him again without hesitation. From his other reviews, we expected a professional, punctual, insightful guide, and that’s what we received. Robert’s English is excellent. He arranged for a very nice driver and nice vehicle to take us all around. He knew the best spots for my husband to take pictures. Robert was polite and flexible. He even had the driver stop at picturesque places my husband asked to photograph. Since Robert has been a local for 15 years, it was interesting to hear how Da Nang has developed in that time. He also had just the right amount of history for Marble Mountain and the other historic sites on our tour. It is a very full day, but we were so relaxed and satisfied under his professional care! I think this tour, and this tour guide specifically, is a must if you’re in Da Nang for a short while. "

He is professional, punctual, and has a lot of insight about the area since he has lived here 15 years. He even suggested the local noodle dish which we’d never tasted before - it was lovely. It felt like we were seeing the neighborhood of an observant friend. Hoi An can come across as chaotic, but he is a pro at navigating it. "Our family absolutely loved our tour with Tam. Riding electric scooters through the countryside was such a fun way to see the area, and with hardly any traffic, we felt totally at ease. Tam took us to visit some local families who make things like rice paper and sleeping mats by hand. It was such a unique experience and felt really special to be welcomed into their homes. Afterward, Tam brought us to a few restaurants to try local food – everything was delicious! Tam explained so much about the dishes and the culture, which made it even better. Plus, he’s just a super friendly guy to hang out with. This tour was a highlight of our trip. We’d 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An!"
