" Hieu picked us up at our hotel right on time, and took us on a tour in a more local part of Saigon. He showed us some parts of Saigon that we’re important for him, and told us a lot about Vietnams history. Ofcourse I dont know what Hieus plans was from the start, but when he heard we went on a foodtour the day before, is seemed like he changed some plans in his head, so we didn’t had the same experience two days in a row. Acutely we’re so pleased with Hieu, that we had thought about another tour, with Hieu, but we had to change that plans due to some lite illness. "Thien is a gem of a guide. ❤️ We spend a day in Saigon with her and her driver in a car supported sightseeing as I was travelling with a 74 year old mother who has mild mobility issues. Thien was very knowledgeable, kind to me, my mom and others around us. She didn't only tell us the historical background but also weaved in a great deal of cultural information that makes the daily fabric of Vietnamese life including fantastic food tastings🥰 by the end of the tour, we felt like family. We weren’t supposed to get lunch but we were hungry so he took us to a delicious small local spot. We walked into a coffee shop so we could learn about Vietnamese coffee from a local owner.
