"We had an amazing time on our private Mekong Delta day tour with Thien! She reached out beforehand with a clear, flexible itinerary, making everything super easy from even before we were picked up in a comfortable transport. Thien’s engaging, hilarious, and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the local culture to life in such a fun way. She took us to a unique café with coffee served in the coolest way, and we loved visiting a brick factory to learn about local life. Thien was fantastic at helping us capture great photos and guided us to less touristy spots. The coconut candy workshop was a highlight—so tasty and fun! Lunch at a local restaurant with delicious fish was spot-on, followed by an incredible sampan boat ride through peaceful coconut groves. Meeting two lovely local ladies who taught us to make rice paper was a blast—my partner rocked it, and we made unforgettable memories. "What an unforgettable day! Thien curated an incredibly engaging and authentic tour of the Mekong river, away from tourist traps and crowds and deep into local villages, experiences and culture. We saw bricks being baked, cooked rice paper pancakes, helped weave a mat, tried snake wine and at every step felt like we were making a genuine connection with the river and its people. In many of these instances we were the only "group" there helping make the experience feel deeply personal. Throughout, Thien - and her perfect English - provided us with real and unvarnished commentary on the history of and life in VietNam.
