"This tour was a great way to get to know Montevideo through its food and architecture with the guidance of a local. We had a fun three hours learning about Montevideo with Lian. He took us to places where we could really understand the history and culture through food. He was a fantastic guide who very knowledgeable and willing to talk to us about culture, current affairs and any questions we had. The food was excellent and we were so full before the tour ended. This is a lot of food but it was fun to get to try so many new items. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Lian, if you can get him! This tour was one of the best ways to get to know the city. Exceeded expectations!
"Mirtha was a friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating tour guide. We visited a number of historic sites and she shared some of the history of Montevideo. The food we tried during our tour was excellent. Mirtha tailored the food items to accommodate our daughter’s vegetarian diet. Our tour with Mirtha added a lot to our visit to Montevideo. We highly recommend this tour with Mirtha!"
"We had an amazing food, culture, history tour of Montevideo with Mirtha. She’s not only extremely knowledgeable, she’s warm, fun and has a great sense of humor. We could have spent all day with her. The tour itself was very interesting and we felt we learned a lot about the country, history and architecture. We loved the way she weaved in food and drink stops. Mirtha also gave us great recommendations to do on our own. We highly recommend the tour and Mirtha as your guide."
"We can highly recommend Mirtha as a tour guide. She is familiar with all the local topics like history, art, politics, culture,…We appreciated here information and suggestions. The different tasting locations we just can highlight. Mirtha is very empathic, professional and always prepared to adapt the program to customer wishes. We again would book a tour with Mirtha next time. Thanks."

Fantastic tour and guide
"We did a tour which included seeing, and in some cases visiting, a number of the most interesting buildings and attractions in Montevideo. Plaza Indepencia, Palacio Salvo, Ciudad Vieja, Mercado del Puerta, Taranco Palace Decorative Arts Museum. Martha was a fantastic guide. So interesting with such knowledge of the history of Uruguay and particularly Montevideo! She speaks English very well so we were able to absorb all the informative content she provided and all our questions were answered! Thanks Mirtha for a great insight into gorgeous Montevideo! "

The best
"Mirtha was so smart. She shared her love for Uruguayan history in wonderful detail. She approached that history from multiple angles, including geography, early Uruguayan history, European influence, anthropology, psychology, art, music, culture, and more. We were curious about today’s geopolitics in the region, and in South America as a whole. She shared information on that too. There were no questions she couldn’t answer. On a personal level, Mirtha was super pleasant and helpful. We came in not knowing much, and we leave knowing a whole lot. She was excellent. "

A perfect peak into Montevideo
"We only had one day in Montevideo. Mirtha lead us to the highlights and explained the ways of Montevideo.
She took us to places where we ourselves wouldn't go because we simply didn't know them.
She listened very well where our interests were, and adapted the tour on that.
A perfect tour for us that day! "
