"Abdul (lah) is a great guide and a genuinely warm and sociable person to be with. He has a great depth of knowledge and interesting stories to make the historical facts a little less dry. I went for the full day tour and his stamina is impressive, not just the walking but to stay engaged, thoughtful and amusing for the whole day takes effort. With Abdullah, you get to see the big tourist must do's, and also some of the lesser known spots to get a unique perspective on the city. Also, and importantly for me as I was travelling light with only hand luggage, you don't get pushed towards sales outlets unless you ask. Would I recommend Abdul, yes I would. Money well spent IMO."

"Istanbul can be overwhelming so we decided to book a tour on our first day but which tour??? We book Gulce knowing that we could adapt the tour to suit us and this was honestly the best decision we made.
