"Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time with our delightful, passionate and knowledgeable guide, Emre. He took us on a unique food tour of Istanbul providing us with the opportunity to try foods we would never have known about in Turkey and also to some historic place. A chance to try Turkish dumplings, coffee made the traditional way and one of our favourites, tantuni!! He was able to adjust to our dietary preferences easily and allowed us to pace ourselves as we wished. Highly recommend and hope we can tour with him again!"

"We spent our first day in Istanbul with Oguz to get an overview of the city, culture and history. He fully delivered. We covered a lot of ground in 9 hours together. Oguz is very knowledgeable and had some great recommendations. The restaurant we went to for lunch on the Asian side was the best Turkish food we had in the city. Thank you for showing us Istanbul "

"We (couple) loved our all day tour with Emre. In the morning we went to The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and the first garden area of the palace (free part). Along the way we stopped in the Hippodrome and other interesting places in the Old City. Emre's presentation of the history of the City including stories was quite enjoyable. We then turned the afternoon over to Emre to show us places he thought we should see. He took us to the Taksim Square area. We walked and ate Turkish street food for lunch (best meal of our trip!). We rode three different versions of public transportation throughout the day. His personal stories were a highlight. Emre has a nice way about him and infectious love for his city and country. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Emre."

"Spending three hours with Emre felt less like a guided tour and more like being taken around by an old friend who happened to grow up there. He's around my age, but his enthusiasm for Istanbul — its history, its buildings, its food — makes him seem younger than his years. There's something almost nostalgic about being with him; he moves through the city the way people move through their own memories. He weaves childhood stories into the architecture as you walk, then rounds a corner into a food stop. The two things work well together - history and food! His obvious love for the city is infectious. As a solo traveller I also appreciated his flexibility — my flight was delayed and I missed my original booking entirely. He moved it to the next day without hesitation. That kind of warmth is rare. Highly recommended."
