Durmus met us off the ferry (he was very patient as the customs queue was long) he tailored our tour to what we wanted namely an insight into the city today. He was totally flexible. He took us around streets and cafes we would never have found ourselves. He recommended places to eat with the best food, atmosphere and views. He outlined the history of Bodrum and the peninsula with recommendations of places to visit if we so wished. Durmus is a wonderfully knowledgeable and polite guide. "
