"Having visited Chiang Mai on several occasions but have never had a more fulfilling day than when I spent time with Ratana. She has lived in Chiang Mai all her life and it shows. Her smile is as infectious as her personality! My request to her was a day of immersion into the local community and culture, away from the typical “tourist” atmosphere, and she delivered! I was able to get a feel for the logistical aspects of the overall city and visit some smaller Wats and villages as well. I was able to see the local markets and how the locals traded, she explained the proper etiquette when shopping and was able to communicate with the vendors to help me understand the different foods and their applications. "The day spent with Minty was memorable. She surprised us by offering extra experiences like the elephant poo paper factory, offered water and snacks throughout the whole trip and made sure our 9 year old boy was comfortable with all the activities (elephant sanctuary and sticky waterfalls). "Minty went above and beyond to make sure our day around Chiang Mai was AMAZING and memorable. She picked us up right at 5am so we could do the sunrise and explore the temple. We got an extra temple on the way down. Grabbed breakfast. The highlight was visiting a local farm where we made Thai new year flag (the craft was done by his mom and grandmom), then we explored his farm fields, tried local thai rum, saw tobacco farming. After we visited the "sticky waterfalls" and Minty did a great job navigating the traffic for us. Finished up the day with a raft down the river and even saw an elephant in the river! Minty was exceptional and made us feel so welcomed to her homeland! We cannot recommend this trip enough!!! Thank you so much! "

"Minty was an excellent guide! She picked us up at 8:30 in the morning, at our hotel, and took us to an elephant sanctuary, where we got to interact with the elephants and learn all about them. It was such a fantastic experience! After the elephants we were taken to a local lunch place and had a great meal before heading out to the sticky waterfall. Minty knew exactly where to take us and showed us how to go down the waterfalls safely. She also explained which waterfall route was easiest and which was the hardest. Without her we would’ve been lost! She was a great guide, but not only that she was a very sweet person and we really enjoyed our day with her."
