"rungthipmeaw is a breath of fresh air and an absolute sweetheart to do the floating markets and train tour with. She not only knows back ways but knows all about the area that you are going because she grew up from that area and knows everything about it! Just note that it is a very busy tourist area and during high tourist season it will be very busy but she will get you through no matter what in a unconventional fun way so you can experience everything in a more local and uncumbersome way and timeframe. The salt fields, shrimp farms, coconut farms the train ride in. I cannot say a good enough things about rungthipmeaw and her tours to the floating markets. I hope to see her again on my next trip there!!"

"What a fabulous day with Piyaporn and her lovely driver. She is an absolute delight to be with. Unfortunately my partner was unable to join us so I had a fabulous individual tour. I feel like I have spent a wonderful day with a friend. As we managed to miss the traffic in Bangkok we were able to ride the train through the market as well as stand and see it pass, an amazing experience. Piyaporn is very knowledgeable on Thai cooking and we picked up ingredients along the way with some heart warming interactions with locals and Piyaporn ensuring I tried a lot of local delicacies. It was an amazing, fun, full itinerary, the floating markets are great to experience and the locations idyllic with relaxing boat tours. Too much to write about, a genuine day to be treasured with the kindest people and the most amazing host. If you have a spare weekend day in Bangkok share this day with Piyaporn to see a wonderful, genuine side of Thai life. "

Piyaporn speaks great English so we were able to ask her questions about all the things we were seeing and she was able to explain everything to us so that we could really appreciate the experience. She also bought us lots of little snacks and other foods to try at the markets that we never would have otherwise known to try. The tour flew by and was a highlight of our honeymoon. "Piyaporn was a great guide and markets were wonderfully authentic. Even the Maekong Market (if you decide to stroll beyond the train railes). Thaka market was trully great and we enjoyed our time there. Best part of Amphawa was the boat ride and a great snack at a small local house/restaurant by the water. "Our private tour from Bangkok to the Maeklong Railway Market and Amphawa was absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our local guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting insights about local life that we would have never discovered on our own. Watching the train pass right through the Maeklong Market was such a unique experience — it’s amazing how the vendors calmly move everything within seconds! Later, we explored the Amphawa Floating Market and soaked in the relaxed atmosphere by the water. "We wanted to see the \"more authentic\" floating market experience and glad we booked the Thaka, Amphawa & Railroad market with Piyaporn. My sister and myself have been to Thailand before but have never been to the floating market and wanted a more 'local' perspective than just a chaperone between spots. Piyaporn talked about how the floating markets have changed with tourism and the times. We got to see the very touristy side of the Railroad market but also the more local side of Thaka market. The canal boat tour was a highlight. Piyaporn also catered to our interests in more local food (indulging in all the dried and salted seafood along the railroad market) and a delicious pad krapaow at Amphawa market. Note: The floating market experience might not be the same as the major tourist spot of Damnoen Saduak so set your expectations accordingly. This one felt a lot more relaxed, but you might not see as many vendors in boats and more along the sides of the canals (which I believe is more the reality of the floating markets these days). Overall, great experience and would do it again especially with Piyaporn."
