      Undoubtedly book

"We have done a lot of withlocals tours and this food tour with Garen was one of the best yet. She perfectly balances spacing out food tastings with history lessons and also engaged with us during our random questions about taiwanese life and culture. We are mid 30 year olds from Chicago with moderately high exposure to Asian food (my husband being half Chinese) and she was introducing us to a lot of dishes we had never had before. Everything we ate was delicious, approachable. I couldn't recommend it more. I had such a fun time. "

      Amazing tour with Garen

"We had an amazing experience on our walking food tour in Taipei with Garen—truly one of the best guides we’ve had anywhere in the world. Traveling with our 21-month-old can be tricky, but Garen was incredibly kind, patient, and engaging with her, making the experience fun for all of us. She struck the perfect balance between fun and informative—we learned so much about Taipei’s history and political landscape, all in a way that felt engaging and easy to follow. The food was outstanding. We tried such a wide variety of Taiwanese dishes we never would have found on our own, and loved it so much that we returned the next night to track down a few favorites. What really stood out was Garen’s relationship with the vendors—there’s a genuine warmth and familiarity that made the experience feel special and authentic. As frequent food tour travelers, we can confidently say Garen is a rare gem. We’d come back to Taipei just to tour with her again—don’t hesitate to book, you’ll be lucky to spend time with her."
