"We were a mother and two adult daughters who booked Buddhima for a food tasting, and it turned out to be one of the best things we did during our two-week holiday. Buddhima began by talking with us about our expectations, what we had already eaten and experienced, and then created a plan for the day based on that. We visited four different places and enjoyed amazing food, sweets, and fruits we would never have tried on our own. In addition, we got to see and experience more of the real Sri Lanka, and received explanations about culture, customs, and traditions we encountered along the way. As a person, Buddhima was calm, pleasant, knowledgeable, and always had a smile ready. She seemed to know almost everyone we met along the way, and it was clear that she is a person who is highly appreciated in the local community. Three hours went by far too quickly — we could easily have spent the whole day with Buddhima! If you are going to Kandy, book this immediately; it is our strongest recommendation.
