We were a family with young children and allergy concerns. Buddhima flawlessly navigated children and allergies， which allowed for a wonderful experience. She communicated ahead of time to make sure we were satisfied with the plans. "

"We had a great day with Buddhima. She picked us up from our hotel on time and took us to an extraordinarily busy market, and with her expertise and local knowledge, we bought fresh ingredients for our cooking class (plus a few souvenirs to take home too). We were welcomed to Buddhism’s home by her mother and neighbour with open arms and commenced our day of cooking. We prepared a great variety of dishes with plenty of laughs along the way. Finally, tucked into our homemade feast and enjoyed our conversation with Buddhima about the Sri Lankan culture. We had a great day and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. (We even stopped off on the way back to the hotel for a fresh King Coconut, Yum)."

"We had such a lovely time with Buddhima! The day was packed with amazing experiences. From going to the local market, to visiting a food center, trying out foods and fruits and finally going to her home and cook together with her and her mom. Being picked-up by the tuk-tuk was a nice experience and it gave us the opportunity to see so much of the area. We learned so much about Sri Oanka, the food, the people, the culture and ofcourse about cooking. I would recommend this to EVERYBODY! As long as you like food, this is the experience to do!!"

"As a solo female traveller it was wonderful to find a female guide. Buddhima is so friendly & knowledgable. We were also joined by Gaya her cousin. I learned all about Sri Lankan culture & Buddha with Buddhima. We visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, a Tea factory & the \"giant Buddha\" in Kandy. There was an amazing cooking experience with Buddhima & Gaya at Gaya's homestay. I learned how to cook real Sri Lankan food & we ate together. There was also a lovely dog as a bonous! I got to learn about real Sri Lankan culture & meet wonderful people. This is one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you Buddhima & Gaya (& Crystal the dog 🐕 ❤). I highly recommend you book this experience as you won't be disappointed. "

"Buddhima was a wonderful host and made sure we have an amazing day. We started at the local market where we visited different sections and Buddhima told us about different fruits and vegetables. Later she took us to her home where we cooked with her family local dishes. Everything was well explained and in nice atmosphere. The feast at the end was great. Make sure you have proper time planned - there was no rush, we took out time. Perfect day and true local experience. Thank you."

"My family (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 8) all thoroughly loved our day with Bhuddima and family! It is a great day starting at the market, trying so many fruits, learning the names of new vegetables we’ve never seen before and buying ingredients for our cooking. Then getting to Bhuddima’s house it was so nice to meet her family and all get cooking together (after recharging with tea and local cakes!) She made sure the dishes would suit our tastes with less chilis and vegetarian. We learned a lot how to make delicious Sri Lanka curry but also was just fun talking and hanging out with Bhuddima and her family- learning about Sri Lankan life. When we sat down together to enjoy all the dishes we’d prepared it was more than delicious! Highly recommend Bhudimma and this tour/cooking lesson! "

"Since the moment we arrived Buddhima made us feel that we were visiting our family. We first visited the food market, she started explaining all the spices fruits and ingredients that we are going to use in the cooking process and we made snack, fruit and juice stops which was amazing. We could try everything there! Buddhima was always making us try the best and the freshest as she knew the spots. After we finished the market her cousin picked us up in a van it was with A/C super comfy seats and went to a beautiful historic tea factory. And finally we were delighted by a traditional cooking class in which we were cooking everything together. When you’re inside this tour the time flies and you can’t take the smile from from your face. Thank you Buddhima and family for such a beautiful experience! ❤️"
