"We were in Colombo for one day on our cruise and booked the city highlights and food experience combo tour with Deegoda. We had very pleasant communication with Deegoda in advance, during which we easily customized the tour to our personal wishes. Deegoda gave us a very warm welcome, even going so far as to bring flowers for my wife. In his particularly charming manner, he showed us all the highlights of this incredibly chaotic city in a very clear and easy to understand English. At the local market in Pettah, he kept showing us new types of fruit and vegetables and explaining them to us, which we all tried.
You notice at all times how much he loves his city and how much he wants to convey this feeling to his guests. The detours to local restaurants and food stalls were a special experience to discover and try the diverse cuisine. We found it extremely pleasant that Deegoda had no time restrictions; he was only satisfied when we had explored all the previously agreed stops, so in the end we were out for almost a whole day instead of the agreed 5 hours. We can highly recommend Deegoda as an absolutely top guide with his knowledgeable and lovely manner.

Fun day in Negombo
"I had such a fun day exploring Negombo with Deegoda in his tuktuk. Despite it being the end of my trip, where I had already tried a lot of things he managed to find some new foods for me. He is very engaging, a super guide, chatty and very informative. Seeing the back alleys of the more rural areas was fascinating and a very enjoyable end to my time in Sri Lanka. "
