"A genuinely excellent experience. Jose clearly takes pleasure in sharing his favorite places in Seville with others. Each location was a gem, that clearly was full of people who live in Seville rather than tourists, offering an fantastic sampling of local tastes and dishes. Along with the absolutely superlative food - every dish he picked was great, and every location we went to felt like a cozy, neighborhood location - Jose peppered the walks with fun insight about the city, the culture, where people go out, the sorts of places to go out to drink, to dance, and the eat afterwards. Highlights include an excellent primer on how to understand jamon iberico and what sort of labels connote what level of quality, the sort of dishes that you should pair with what wine, the ways to tell a tourist trap from a place that gives you a real feel for the city, and how and when to have different types of offerings. In addition to the tour itself, Jose recommended a fantastic Flamenco show, that was a visit highlight, and a recommendation for dinner later in the trip that was out of this world. The entire experience felt like having an old friend who wants to show you the cool city they live in now, and our trip to Seville was made all the richer for Jose's care and recommendations.
