"The tour was full of fascinating details about Salamanca, the surrounding area, and it's history. We were never once bored! I loved that it felt like you were visiting a friend and they were showing you their hometown.
We were able to ask questions, probably interrupted more than any normal human could tolerate, and made a lot of silly jokes. Our tour guide was patient and matched the vibes. Everything we learned help inform the rest of my families visit, including locations of museums, good food, good drinks, bike rentals, and ideas for day trips.
He was also very aware of our experience making efforts to keep us out of the sun, stopping for water as needed, and ensuring we were comfortable continuing. We never felt rushed. "

He is a very kind and thoughtful guide who showed me some fun sights in Salamanca that I had missed on my own, like the frog and the astronaut (iykyk!). Also the romantic garden. Then we had some great snacks at a couple of different spots near Plaza Mayor with the most delicious ice cream to finish.
