"We (spouses) had a 3-hour private tour with Victor, a native Madrileno, to learn very early Madrid history and about the existing historical buildings associated with it. He clearly is intellectually curious about these subjects and makes it a life priority to be an expert communicator concerning them. He provided an in-depth historical context for the many buildings we visited (outside only except for the crypt beneath the cathedral). He discussed not only the structure but the who, why, and how about each one. He knows many details that I doubt other guides would know. We felt like Víctor brought the entire historical center alive. Also, he seems to know everyone. We had what seemed to be spontaneous behind the scenes access to restaurants and another locations that added a completely unique and personal feel to our tour. Victor did all this with an understated, happy and easy-going personality that put us completely at ease. This tour was well worth the cost. Don’t hesitate to trust Victor to make your day. "

"We were a group of 6 British adults who had been to Madrid before staying and visiting in central Madrid. Our time with Julian was a neighbourhood off the beaten track tour and it didn’t disappoint. Interesting buildings monuments churches best tapas bars and bakeries were all part of the tour! Julian was well informed providing excellent commentary throughout our tour. At our request we had short pit stops for a glass sherry and some delicious famous pastries. Julian was a charming guide and we enjoyed our experience very much. "

Her Art History knowledge and pointing out nuances and highlights of individual pieces provided us with a fascinating perspective on many famous Spanish artists, as well as life during those centuries.
