"What an absolute pleasure of a day we spent with Mabel. She is delightful company, so knowledgeable, caring, and the perfect person to share her native Bilbao with. Touring the Guggenheim with her far exceeded anything we could’ve dreamed of ourselves. Her knowledge of background information about the success of Bilbao’s attainment, creation, architecture, construction inside and out together with such insightful teachings about exhibits, artists and the curating of the Guggenheim’s collections from the beginning to present day were absolutely superb.
And then there were the pinxtos, local wine, and beer. Mabel chose two special places for us to enjoy ourselves with locals. All taste were fabulous , the sun was shining, friends and families were out enjoying their Saturday afternoon and Mabel helped us fit right in. In addition, she was able to get a birthday cake for one of our group which was beyond delicious.

Laura was incredibly warm, inviting and knowledgeable about the culture and life of the people of Bilbao. She is a long term transplant from Scotland and could easily translate across cultures. This was a wonderful way to be introduced to the city, the culture and some delicious food!"
