"Mabel was wonderful! Aside from the tour we had great communication before the tour regarding questions about transportation from our cruise ship to hotel, the ongoing festival etc. Of course the highlight of the tour was the Guggenheim Museum which was great but then we spent time in the City Centre which she proudly gave us a tour. As part of this tour we visited a Pintxos Bar and enjoyed quite a few pintos (tapas) for our group of eight. Overall Mabel was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and we all were pleasantly surprised with the City of Bilbao! We did not expect much with Bilbao but it was a great city to visit."

He showed us the highlights & pointed out things we might want to go see the next day. He was able to answer questions & made some recommendations on restaurants. "We are a family with 2 boys ages 8 and 10. Our private tour with Mabel was a wonderful experience. She is a Bilbao native, and she was able to give us very interesting context of Bilbao's history and culture and explain how the Guggenheim played a key role in Bilbao's evolution. She had a wealth of knowledge about the city, the museum, its architecture, and the modern art collection. I think the personal guide is well worth it to gain the key insights, and then you can use your ticket to remain in the museum and slowly explore on your own. "If you are looking for a great guide experience in Bilbao, look no further, Rune is the person for the job! We had our 3 year old toddler with us and it wasn't easy as he is full of energy and can be quite distractive but Rune was amazing. He not only could entertain our little kiddo and yet he could give us insightful history and facts about the guggenheim and the artwork in the museum.
