Walking pleasantly broken up with Tapas stops where Andrea introduced us to local dishes and wines that we wouldn’t have had the courage to order ourselves. "Maria has a great knowledge of the history of Alicante. It was a very interesting walk through Santa Barbara castle and old Alicante. The hike took over 3 hours, but it wasn't tiring or difficult. At the end I was invited to a good ice cream in an old cafe. I strongly recommend hiring Maria as a guide the next time you are in Alicante."
