She was warm, flexible (even rescheduling when our flights were delayed), and went out of her way to accommodate our vegetarian, non-alcoholic family—including our kids (ages 8, 14, and 16) and grandparents! The food was absolutely delicious—Spanish omelet, toasted tomato bread, and an unforgettable vegetarian paella at a place she brings her own family. "A friend recommended the WithLocals experiences so we booked a food tour with Brendan. We started with some churros and chocolate then had a beautiful walk through the old city down to the beach. Brendan was very knowledgeable about the history of this part of Spain. We wandered the streets looking for images of St. George and the dragon. We finished up at a very locals-only tapas bar where we sampled the local cuisine. I would recommend this experience and we thought that Brendan was very personable and his knowledge of the history and food of Catalan were a real plus. "
