"Antonio promptly picked us up at our apartment in a roomy, newer SUV. We told him we wanted a relaxed day with a lot of walking, a lunch at a good restaurant, and to see some new sights. We have been to Costa Brava many times but this was our friend’s first visit. Antonio formulated the perfect outing, two hikes in different areas, a few sights pointed out by car, a relaxed lunch with great food at a beachfront restaurant, and a visit to a wonderfully maintained medieval town that was not overrun with tourists. Antonio was super knowledgeable and shared information about other areas my friend wanted to visit some day. Very friendly and personable. We simply had the perfect day. Priceless. "

"We had a lovely day with Tomas. We met in Barcelona and travelled to Montserrat together via train and tram. While he kept apologizing for the foggy weather and lack of visibility, we felt it added to the mystery of the mountain. :) Tomas was knowledgeable, kind, friendly, confident and a great person to travel with! The six hour day gave us time to tour the immediate area and hear the boys choir. The train ride/connections takes almost 2 hrs each way. If you are hoping to explore the mountain make sure you opt for a much longer tour. "

"We booked Antonio for our day trip to Montserrat based on previous reviews, and we were grateful we did. Antonio was very communicative and accommodating. My 82 year old mother was with us and Antonio was incredibly kind, patient, and caring towards her. He was also a wealth of information and spent the hour ride to Montserrat sharing his knowledge of the history of Barcelona and Monserrat. Antonio had our tickets ready and we experienced both the boys choir and the black Madonna in good time. He also walked us through the small museum with more informative videos of the sanctuary and its history. It was a perfect day and Antonio was a big reason for it. "Being that this was my family's first time using With Locals and being a young family of four, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but knew what we wanted. We got everything imagined and then some on this trip. Antonio was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable of Spanish history and the lay of the land. The trip brought us right to the point of what became the highlight of our entire European vacation. Antonio picked us up on time at out apartment and went over a few options and ideas that would work best based on our preference. We wenth through several small towns and stopped for coffee alongside some of the most beautiful fishermen towns. Ate at the loveliest restaurant on the Mediterranean (Antonio made advance reservation). We then proceed to visit some of the most spectacular beaches and overlooks I've ever seen. Peaceful and quiet beaches with the most perfect scenery. Antonio was perfect and the trip was incredible -- highly recommended."
