Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"My wife and I recently spent some time with Ellie strolling around the Sagrada Família. It was a wonderful tour. Ellie was professional and clearly very knowledgeable about the Basílica and its architect, Antoni Gaudí. Along the way, we also leaned much about Catalan culture and Barcelona itself. Ellie provided insight on what to expect and look for once inside the Basílica. From our external tour, she clearly broke down all the comprehensive (and staggering) symbolism that makes up the exterior of the church. Ellie is an excellent communicator and it was a pleasure to spend time with her. We learned a lot not only about the site but also what to watch for while in Barcelona. Highly recommended. "
"We, as a party of four, had a deeply satisfying visit to the Sagrada Familia with our guide, Pili. She met us at the Casa Mila and immediately helped us see “light” as an energy, as she explained Gaudi’s training and vision as an architect. When we sat in a cafe with her and then circled the Sagrada and saw the solid glass forms she personally created for one of the towering spires, we were captivated. Inside, she revealed hidden details and spaces and showed us how the colors from the windows radiated their afternoon power. She was warm, humble, accommodating and, as a sculptor herself, passionate about the role of the Sagrada in the life of the city. It was like getting a personal tour of the building from a close friend of the man himself. Thank you so much, Pili. "
"We had a wonderful morning with Ellie. Our kids were a bit jet lagged and grumpy, but she was still able to get them interested with lots of stickers, chocolate tastings and more. Our four year old said today that her favourite thing about her day was looking at the buildings and getting sticker rewards. "
"Ellie met us on time and at the exact location we had arranged next to Sagrada Familia. She was knowledgeable about the building and excited to teach us and we had a wonderful time on our tour. Highly recommend that you reach out to her for all your tour needs in Barcelona. She was a great guide!"
"Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had with Pili on the Light, Color and Architecture tour. We chose to pay for extra time for her to come into the places with us and I highly recommend it. Pili doesn’t just give anecdotes or facts about Casa Milá, La Sagrada Familia or Guadi. Any facts or stories she gives is conected to the heart and soul of Guadi, and the expanse and depth of his vision for his projects and how he implemented it. I felt like we got a glimpse inside of Guadí. The fact that she created sculptures for the sacristy tower to implement Gaudi’s vision gives her a unique understanding and perspective. Each piece of the tour was fascinating and by the time we went in La Sagrada Familia, we could experience it with a depth that surprised me. I knew it would be interesting and beautiful. Through what Pili gave us, we could experience it more fully and let it touch the depth of our souls. I had tears more than once. La Sagrada Familia is so much more than what you see in pictures (although that is beautiful too!). Thank you, Gaudí. Thank you Pili. I will also look at light, dark, and shape with new eyes, awareness and appreciation. It was truly the highlight of our magnificent trip. I highly recommend Pili as your guide! "
"Having known about the Familia Sagrada all my life and then finally being there, we certainly were most fortunate in having Ellie for our family tour guide. Her deep and wide knowledge of the diverse aspects of the phases, timing, progress, purpose, meaning and numerous symbols of the exterior and interior architecture of the building made our visit intensely satisfying and rewarding. "
"Sabastian was such a great guide and show us all about Gaudi and the history of Barcelona. He has a great sense of humor and his pictures helped bring the stories to life. Sangrada Familia is a great way to end. What a breathtaking piece of art!!"
"We really appreciated Bianca's breadth of knowledge and her architectural training added a lot to our understanding. We saw and understood so many details of the Gaudi buildings that we didn't see on our own. We walked a LOT--which we like--and saw sooo much. Her discussion was interactive and her English is excellent. She also helped us to decide where we would/would not like to re-visit--according to our interests. Highly recommend booking with her! "
"Lars was fantastic. He connected with our children and made the tour interesting yet fun for them. Had great recommendations for restaurants for all of us to enjoy as well. Highly recommend a tour with him. "
"Ilona provided a wonderful introduction and overview of Gaudi's works that served us well as we navigated them throughout the rest of our holiday. Suggest you do this tour early in your visit as it provides a great foundation if you intend to explore Gaudi's works. "

Antoni Gaudí, the genius behind the Sagrada Familia, was a master of Catalan Modernisme. Inspired by nature, he designed the basilica's interior to feel like a forest, with columns branching out like trees.
The Sagrada Familia has three magnificent facades: the Nativity, the Passion, and the Glory. Each tells a biblical story through intricate sculptures, capturing the essence of Barcelona's rich cultural heritage.
Stepping inside the Sagrada Familia is a breathtaking experience. The stained-glass windows filter the sunlight, creating an ever-changing cascade of colors that dance through the nave. It's a magical light show.
