"We hired Elvira for two different events, a food tour and a trip to Montserrat followed by a winery visit. Elvira was a class act! She was friendly, welcoming, warm and very informative. We were a multigenerational group, and Elvira was able to meet all our needs. She displayed strong problem-solving skills when obtaining a car seat for our youngest member and getting grandma a closer look at the Black Madonna at Montserrat. During the food tour Elvira walked us around the food market where we tasted lots of regional delights. Elvira explained food and drink customs, and we dined at a traditional bodega and a family-owned sweets shop. During our trip to Montserrat, Elvira provided historical information about the site and its significance through the ages. She walked us through the museum, including a stroll through the art wing which housed an impressive collection. The location was stunning, and she helped us take some lovely family pictures. We continued the day at a local family-owned winery where we enjoyed learning more about wine production and sampled Spanish wines while munching on tasty snacks. Elvira was gracious, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable throughout. I would highly recommend Elvira as a guide for your travels in Spain."

"We went wine tasting and to Montserrat with Elvira. It was a really cold day, but I can't blame that on Elvira. Despite the cold we had a lovely day. Good wine and interesting conversation with both Elvira and the young owner of the winery. The monastery was also nice, and I think we will come back on a warmer day. Elvira knows a lot and shares her knowledge in an inviting way as she is also clearly interested in what we said. Very interesting to hear about the history of Catalonia. The car was not really suited for elderly people After the trip Elvira sent suggestions for other excursions and recommendations for restaurants. Can only recommend Elvira"

She took us to the usual parts of the Abby but also to the newly opened museum that no one seemed to know about - it was like a private showing! From the Abby to the winery she took us on back roads so we could see more of the areas natural beauty. The winery was fantastic - small, intimate with amazing Catalonian wine. Elvira was a wonderful person to spend the day with!"
