"We had booked Maria for a city tour but ended up pivoting a few days before as we wanted it to be more food focused. Maria took us to several places and we got to try many local foods. It was a great experience and she was very knowledgeable about the city and the food. Afterwards she sent us several restaurant recommendations, which we ended up going to most of. Very highly recommend! Just a note because we did not originally book a food tour we paid for most everything we tried along the way, which was totally fine everything was very reasonably priced! "

Orlando was a perfect match for us, we really enjoyed our day exploring the Douro Valley, and he generously included an extra stop at the end of the day which we loved. "Our group of 4 had such a great trip to the Douro with Gustavo. He is knowledgeable, experienced and also passionate about the Douro. He kindly tailored the day to what we were keen to do and we tasted wines at a delightful family run place with awesome olive oil as well, lunch at a winery with a sensational view and lovely food and then another tasting at a bigger winery all the while filling us in on the history and life of the Douro.
