"Andre was a wonderful guide, with a kind and easy manner that allowed him/us to build a positive rapport right from the start of the tour. The wine tasting was well chosen, with lots of interesting information and a good selection of wines and ports to sample. Andre found us a local and very reasonable restaurant for lunch - which was just what we were looking for. Very tasty! The viewpoints were well selected and we have many positive memories of the beautiful countryside. The boat trip was enjoyable - although the weather was perhaps a bit too hot on the day! Overall a very informative and enjoyable day. One unexpected highlight: on our return from the cruise, we were able to witness two seaplanes skim the river to collect water to address the wildfires. Great to experience (although we would obviously rather there were no wildfires and no need for the planes) "
"Overall great time on the tour with Orlando. Be prepared for lots of driving, but Orlando kept it fun on the ride with lots of history and information. I would say the boat ride was a bit of a let-down, but our lunch on the river, wine tasting, and quick trip to Amaranthe was fun and a nice surprise. Overall great time in a beautiful part of the country. Orlando was accommodating to our preferences so definitely be sure to plan things out in advance and understand you will be spending time in the van! Take advantage of that and take in Orlando's humor and knowledge and enjoy the trip!"
