We presented her with a few challenges that could have made a food tour difficult—picky kids and dietary restrictions—but she thoughtfully customized the experience to meet everyone’s needs. The tour was a wonderful final glimpse of Lisbon before we left. My kids appreciated how approachable and relaxed she was, and my wife and I enjoyed getting to know her while sampling some of Lisbon’s signature culinary experiences and learning more about the city’s food culture. We tried all the local foods including octopus, grilled sardines, local cheeses- all with the perfect wines to match. She made every meal very interesting talking about the the food and its place in Lisbon’s history. She kept the tour at a good pace moving along, but never felt rushed at all.
