She made every meal very interesting talking about the the food and its place in Lisbon’s history. She kept the tour at a good pace moving along, but never felt rushed at all. "Dinner with Isabel and Chico is like visiting an old friend who is a great cook. Isabel made us comfortable the minute we walked in the door. We were relaxed and comfortable as if we had known her for years. There were six in our party and we are all good eaters. We could not begin to eat all the food Isabel served in spite of the fact she is a great cook. Not to mention the never ending bottles of wine. Chico, her dog is as friendly as she is and loves to play and be pet. His is very well behaved but if you encourage him he is more than willing to be your friend. I could go on and on about all the wonderful food and great conversation we shared that night but I won’t. Just book an evening with Isabel . I promise you it will be an evening and meal you will remember fondly. Then you two will have a new friend in Lisbon!"

"We had an absolut great time with Pedro. Getting introduced to Lisbon and Portugal through its culinary delights is the best. Pedro was very knowledgeable and we appreciated his pleasant and calm manner. We walked around the city centre and took us to hidden courtyards only a local would know. He further managed to beat the crowds and ended in a place just under the castelo with a stunning view over the city. Thanks Pedro for further restaurant tips and bars with fado music. :-)"
