"I had the great pleasure of spending time with Andre in Lisbon. I was visiting for a work trip with a very short time for myself. I had a great experience with With Locals in Rome, so decided to try in Lisbon. As a foodie, I decided on the tasting tour. I looked at the various guides and was impressed by the reviews for Andre. Shortly after booking, Andre reached out and was kind, welcoming, and enthusiastic! I let him know I had a mobility issue (walk with a cane), was curious about Jewish history in Lisbon, and wanted to soak up as much info as possible. He was super communicative and asked a few clarifying questions. I very much appreciated that - I knew he was fine-tuning my adventure. My time with Andre was like visiting an old pal who was showing me around his home town. He answered questions, explained things, pointed out little and big points of interest, told me stories.... And truly gave me a taste of the city! Speaking of tastes, he took me to some local hangouts, where we sampled delicious and traditional tastes. Every bite was pure Bliss! Andre was patient, thoughtful, never rushed me, and a real pleasure. He is very knowledgeable about the culture, food, and history of the city and the country. He shared insights and personal reflections. He also checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and asked about preferences to ensure the tour was truly personalized for me. After our tour he sent me notes of where we went and what we tried, so I have the info handy. I only have one complaint - that I didn't have another day in Lisbon to book another tour with Andre! If you're in town, please do yourself a favor and take a tour with your new BFF Andre! "
