"We had a great day with Miguel as we toured Sintra and the Pena palace. He picked us up just a short walk from our hotel. Michael’s English is very good which made the experience even more enjoyable. He explained about the history of the Pena palace which is quite interesting. Stopped in sintra village for a brief visit of the shops and some pastry. After visiting the palace Miguel took us to a nice restaurant for lunch. We then drove to Cascais where we checked out some more shops and the marina. A third stop to get some pictures of the coast. Total time was a little over 6 hours… Miguel went above and beyond for sure! I highly recommend Miguel!"
"My husband and I had a great time with Miguel at Sintra, the drive along the ocean to Cascais and some time in the center of Cascais harbor. Miguel is an encyclopedia of information on the history and evolution of the area. He has the facts and lots of stories that put these facts in context, both for history and current day. Miguel made sure we were comfortable with the logistics and pacing of the day and considered our particular desires around the amount of walking. We are in Lisbon for another 3 weeks and if Miguel is not available for our next adventure, he pointed out some of the others in the WithLocals team who would fit our needs well."
