"We had a fantastic day with Tiago exploring Sintra, the Moorish Castle, and the surrounding area. As a Lisbon local, he shared interesting history and insights that made each stop much more meaningful than just walking through on our own. One of the biggest advantages was avoiding the long lines and crowds, which allowed us to make the most of our day. We also enjoyed a great seaside lunch at a small seafood restaurant, including our first taste of Portuguese barnacles. Along the way, Tiago pointed out highlights of the coastline and surrounding towns, including Cascais, giving us a broader appreciation for the region. Throughout the day, we got to experience places and perspectives we probably would have missed on our own.
