"We had a really informative and enjoyable 3 hour historical tour of Coimbra in the company of Joao. It rained for most of the time but the interest he engendered very much countered any concerns of getting wet. We explored old Coimbra via its many narrow steep streets and discovered all sorts of things we wouldn’t have been aware of but for him. He also pointed out some great restaurants and local shops some which we revisited the following day. We would definitely recommend booking a tour with Joao to ensure you make the most of your visit to Coimbra. "

So much to see and learn; just great
"A 3 hour tour that went by quickly! Lots of ground covered and so much history conveyed. Exactly what I was hoping for. Joao is especially knowledgeable and personable. Many "hidden gems" and sights and stories that were interesting and captured the spirit and culture of Coimbra. Joao also gave recommendations for lunch, dinner and more places to explore. Highly recommend a tour with him."
