"We had a superb day out with Yousuf. This tour involves a long drive but well worth seeing. In addition to visiting Wadi Bani Khalid and the Wahiba Sands, we had an unscheduled stop at Yousuf’s family farm where we were treated to ginger tea, cake and fruit and were able to hold their 2 week old baby Arabian gazelle. Lovely! Yousuf was the perfect guide and host for this whole day tour. "
"We had a great time on Hajer’s tour. As well as seeing all the main attractions, she took us to some of her favourite spots in and around Muscat including a lovely local fish restaurant and sweet parlour. Hajer was very knowledgeable and interesting and answered our many questions! Overall, a great way to see Muscat with a super guide and vehicle. "
"Highly enjoyable and informative evening tour of Muscat with Yousaf Ali - exactly what we’d hoped for. Yousaf was great at reading his audience and delivering!
We’d already seen a good bit of Muscat by day, and also a trip to Nizwa etc, so we were keen to hear about Oman/Muscat’s history and current affairs, mixed with getting a different view of old Muscat by night.
Friendly, enthusiastic and informative, a great evening trip and would highly recommend Yousaf to others (in fact we already did to someone else staying in our hotel!)"

Wadi beauty, desert adventure, hospitality
"What a tour! We had a perfect mixture of things to see and do – not too long and not too short. It all started with being picked up at the agreed time at our hotel by Yousuf Alharti who, by the way, reacted very promptly to our request for a very short term booking of the tour the night before. We then rode (in a spacious, airconditioned 4wd) past quaint mountains to our first highlight, Wadi Bani Khalid, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim in turquoise waters surrounded by spectacular rock formations. Next stop: Wahiba Sands. There were dunes as far as the eye could see. After walking around a bit we were treated to a thrilling ride up and down steep dunes (Yousuf is a skilled and carful driver). To top it off, we were privileged to experience true Omani hospitality: after having been shown the traditional irrigation system and old (abandoned) typical Omani houses in Yousuf‘s home village, we were invited to his parents‘ house for coffee, oranges and (homegrown) delicious dates (we were even given dates to take home). Yousuf is a polite, attentive and knowledgeable guide who calmly answers all your questions. We can wholeheartedly recommend the tour and the expert guide Yousuf Alharti.

"Issam came to pick us up at our hotel.
We toured the main landmarks of Muscat (Royal Palace, Mosque...), the Souk, and also went to the Amouage factory.
Being with our guide allowed us to learn a bit about the Omanian culture.
Overall, we were satisfied with the tour and got a good 1st impression of Oman, knowing that there is a lot of more to see in the country... but this will be for another trip."

The highligfht of our trip!
"We had the pleasure of experiencing a personalized tour of Muscat with Issam and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we met him, his warm personality and deep passion for his country shone through. He carefully tailored the tour to our interests, ensuring we got to enjoy incredible sites, indulge in delicious local food, and learn so much about Oman’s fascinating history and culture.
Issam’s knowledge is impressive, and his ability to speak multiple languages made the experience seamless and enjoyable. It was wonderful to see how much pride he takes in sharing Oman with visitors, and his enthusiasm is absolutely contagious.
Thanks to Issam, we left with not only amazing memories but also a deeper appreciation for this beautiful country. If you’re looking for a guide who truly loves what he does and goes above and beyond, Issam is the one to choose- I’m just sad we didn’t find him earlier in our trip! Highly recommend!"
"I was delighted to meet Hajer who I had been messaging on the app. She is extremely responsive and helpful even before meeting her!
She arrived in a very comfortable 4 x 4 which she drove with great confidence and care all over the city. She is incredibly proud of her country and its people and shared so much of her knowledge with me, including sampling three treats which reflect street food in the city.
Seeing Muscat lit up in the dark was a real treat and created a very different atmosphere to what can be experienced during the day, I highly recommend it. There were so many highlights, the beautiful mosque with the golden domes, the Opera House with its glistening white marble and the Sultan’s Palace.
However, for me, meeting such an engaging young woman was a highlight, I felt as if I had known her for years such was her warmth and kindness."

Best tour in Oman
"Hajer did an amazing job taking us around Oman. She picked us up in a nice/clean vehicle. She took us to the main attractions, tea house, sweet shop and helped us have an easy shopping experience at the souk. She responded to our messages in a timely order. I can’t recommend her enough!!"
"Nasser gave me the best tour of the city and is very knowledgeable about the history of the city! I recommend him for your experiences in Oman! I hope to book him again when I go back"
"I was on a solo day trip to Oman and booked Hajer to show me around Muscat. Hajer picked me up from the airport and we set off on the adventure. She was very friendly, very fun and most of all very passionate and knowledgeable about her home country. The best way I can describe my experience, was like I travelled and caught up with a friend - we grabbed a coffee from one of her favourite spots, walked through the Mutrah Souq, drove through the mountainous areas, saw the palace, opera house, multiple beaches, the gorgeous resort area etc. I feel there was no area we didn’t explore. Hajer then took me to a very local restaurant where we ate a late Omani lunch followed by a stop to try some locally made halwa (sweet) and coffee. As the tour ended, Hajer dropped me back off at the airport.
Overall, it was a fantastic day and I recommend the tour with Hajer. If you have a longer trip, this would also be a great way to see everything at a high level to get your bearings and then feel comfortable to explore on your own, knowing where everything is.
