Starting and finishing off with some special Norwegian treats that Michael brought along added a special touch to our experience. It was as if we were touring the town with an old friend. The cuisine options were carefully picked and the food selections were delicious! Make sure not to eat before you go; it was like a 10 course omakase experience!!! "

"Eclectic Food & Drink of Bergen Norway! Spending time with Shafaq and exploring unique food stops in the Bergen, Norway central area was a fantastic treat! The consummate host, Shafaq took us to 3 Kroneren for an absolutely delicious Reindeer Hot Dog! Then we went to Fisketorget to explore this stunning fish store filled with a wonderful assortment of fish. We had a wonderful sampling of some of the best prepared mussels that I have ever had, along with a sampling of Minke whale—delicious! And, this was complemented by the best glass of Aquavit! Then we strolled over to sostrene Hagelin where we tasted some wonderful fish cakes, fish chowder, and salmon roll-ups. And, again, absolutely delicious! And, then our final stop was at Deli Luca and had some wonderful sweets with coffee! Our experience was most memorable and we will cherish our time with Shafaq. She introduced us to wonderful Norwegian food while we also learned about Norwegian Culture. Thank you Shafaq! "
