"What can you see in any town if you only have a couple of hours? Not much... Is it even worth it to bother? Well... book a 2 hours Kick Starter Tour with Thami and let him surprise you. Thami is a reliable guide. He picked us up from the port after waiting for us for over an hour. Important tip: make sure you stamp your passport on the ferry, otherwise your disembarkment will take for ever! The walk was pretty fast, but Thami made sure that we were able to keep up with him. His knowledge and passion about the place is impressive. We could not stop anywhere for long but had a nice break at Cinema Rif Cafe. It is well deserved after climbing the hills of Medina. You will be given access to cafe's Wifi so you can post hot of the press snaps of Tangier while enjoying a cup of fresh, strong mint tea. Great spot. And then comes the visit to Tangier's fish market. If like us you haven't been to the Orient you will be greatly impressed. Hustle and bustle of this place is difficult to describe. The noise, colours, flavours and smells and friendly traders tempting you with their exotic catch. The taste of fresh oysters offered to us (courtesy of Thami)... was a cherry on this amazing cake! "Thami was prompt and chose a meeting place that was easy for us to find. We told him we wanted an authentic Moroccan experience and he did not disappoint! We were able to try fresh oysters and olives when walking through the markets and picked up treats to walk around town with. He took us to places we would have never ventured to on our own and explained his city with enthusiasm!!"

"Amazing local tour of Tangiers with Thami. We only had a day in the city (cruise ship stop) but we got to see all of it thanks to our expert & professionally qualified guide. The history and the culture here in Tangiers is incredible and we even got to learn a few Arabic words during our walk. And the local market (the one for real-life locals) was absolutely sensational and a real must-do for anyone who loves photography. It was an absolutely feast for the eyes! "This was our first time hiring a guide and, and wow, what a difference it made. Thami honed in on our love of learning the history and culture and taught us many things as we walked through the city. We were enthralled by the many beautiful doors so Thami made it fun by taking our picture by many of them. Best of all was getting to meet the artisans: first the owner of the spice shop and learning about the oils and spice blends and then the owner of the textiles who showed us a working loom and the many types of yarn and thread used in their amazing weavings. He also treated us along the way with mint tea and then recommended a lovely spot for lunch that had so many authentic dishes to choose from, including variety plates of salads and desserts so we were able to sample many things in one meal. I highly recommend Thami as a guide and recommend having a guided experience as worth the money!"

"I had already done a tour of Tangiers with FRS and it was so disappointing, we learnt more in five minutes with Youssef about the real Tangiers than we did with the whole tour with FRS. Youssef very friendly and knowledgeable, you get to go where history actually happened. We was taken places off the beaten track and we wasn’t pressured into doing anything we didn’t want to. The tour was everything we hoped for and more. We all had an amazing experience and we highly recommend him. We have already recommended him to friends who are planning to go to Tangiers.
